Description

1.1 CONDUCTORS
Each conductor shall be composed of four coated copper strands and three coated steel strands.
The nominal diameter of conductor and length of lay of the strand conductor shall be given in the
attached table.
The outside strands shall be evenly and smoothly around the central strand without crowding.
1.2 INSULATION
Each conductor shall be insulated with a tight, well centered polyethylene compound,with a minimum
wall thickness of 0.36mm.
The insulation shall strip cleanly and readily with the use of pliers.
1.3 JACKET
Each insulated conductor shall be covered with a nylon-jacket applied，by the continuous extrusion
process, and providing a smooth, continuous,tight fitting covering containing no flaws or breaks.
The wall thickness of the jacket shall be given in attached table.
1.4 OVERALL DIAMETER
The overall diameter of the finished single conductor shall not exceed 2.23mm.
1.5 FINISHED FIELD WIRE
Two finished single conductors shall be twisted closely together with Uniform tension shall be
maintained on both conductors during the twisting operation to prevent looping or bunching
of the conductor.
2. PROPERTIES
The properties of cable shall be comply with attached table.
The otherwise shall be comply with Q/XC 42-2006.
